Zhang Family Garden
The Zhang Family Garden in Dali is a scenic spot opened in March 2008, which is a dreamlike habitat of camellias in the south of colorful clouds. She is surrounded by camellias, azaleas and Erhai Lake (the mother lake) filled with water from the eighteen streams. Backing against flowers, gentianas, megacarpa delavayi of Cangshan Mountain, it is called "The First Garden in Yunnan" and a "Dreamlike Dwelling of the Bai Ethnic Minority". It is also the synonym of "amazing, miraculous and exciting". Wearing clothes embroidered with flower rings on collars as well as camellias and azaleas, the Bai people with pink-white cheeks are good at singing and dancing, which has attracted people who take a fancy to the poetic imagery of colorful clouds chasing the moon to Dali. When the golden spots on clear water in Erhai Lake turn to golden ripples andare reflected onto the colorful clouds above the Cangshan Mountain, sunshine cascades down the Zhang Family Garden, the "Eastern Dreamlike Dwelling".
