Achievements

        Over the years, Dali Mount Cangshan UNESCO Global Geopark has made abundant achievements in terms of science popularization through organizing a series of theme campaigns and actively creating conditions for new forms of science popularization and publicity activities. By utilizing the resources of local schools, communities, enterprises, government institutions and relevant academies and associations, the Geopark has held annual science popularization activities that are open to the public, such as "World Earth Day", "National Land Day", "Technology Activity Week", "National Science Popularization Day" and "Community-Based Science Popularization Programme", which has successfully enhanced its efforts on science popularization. The Geopark organizes events and activities in various forms, for example, summer camps, training courses on land and resources, publicity event on geologic environment and farmland protection, theme lectures, as well as other publicity campaigns via multiple channels and at various levels through the display boards and vehicles at the Science Popularization Publicity Week.
