Ximatan Scenic Spot

        Located in the southern-central part of Mt Cangshan, with an elevation of 3,200-4,122 meters, the Ximatan Scenic Area is an alpine and sub-alpine terrain, covering an area of 117.24 square kilometers. This scenic area is a key sightseeing spot near the main peak of Mt Cangshan, containing Malong Peak, Yuju Peak, Xiaocen Peak and Zhonghe Peak. This area is characterized by rich glacial landforms such as horn peak, arete, cirque, glacial lake, U-shaped valley, glacial till, etc. It also contains rich metamorphic rocks and geological structures, alpine meadow, Delavay's Fir forest, rhododendron shrub, as well as numerous model plants.
