Sedimentary Rocks

Sedimentary rocks are a type of rocks that are found when existing rocks undergo exogenic processes, such as weathering and erosion, and are transported, deposited ,and cemented together under or near the surface of the earth . Clastic or detrital rocks are sedimentary rocks that are composed of fragments of rocks and minerals that have been eroded, transported, deposited and cemented together.
