Beasts

        The Geopark records wild beasts 10 orders, 31 families, 64 genera, 86 species. 4 species under the first-class national protection: Panthera pardus, Neofelis nebulosa, Macaca assamensi and Moschus berezovskii. 12 species under the first-class national protection: Ailurus fulgens, Viverra zibetha, Viverricula indica, Catopuma temminckii, Macaca mulatta, Ursus thibetanus, Capricornis milneedwardsii, Manis pentadactyla and Martes flavigula.

        Wild beasts in the Geopark, specially, the species diversity of endangered wild beasts is very high. Except Capricornis milneedwardsii, Martes flavigula and other few protection species, the population quantity of most protection species is very few.
