Protected Plants in Cangshan Mountain

        The Geopark has 9 national protected plant species, of which, 2 species under the first-class national protection: Taxus wallichiana and Alcimandra cathcardii. 7 species under the second-class national protection: Neocheiropteris palmatopedata, Sinopteris grevilleoides, Magnolia wilsonii, Tetracentron sinense etc. 20 species under Yunnan provincial protection, of which, 6 species under the second-class provincial protection: Megacarpaea delavayi, Prunus cerasoides etc. 14 species under the third-class provincial protection: Dysosma delavayi, Anisadenia pubescens, Millettia pachycarpa etc. Additionally, 104 protected plant species in the Geopark has been on the CITES appendix II.
